I spent the day walking and riding my motorcycle in Guanajuato. The owner of the hotel tells me it’s no problem to drive around town. I found it a complicated circle of one way streets on a very steep hill. My GPS was useless here. I eventually just used the sun to decide my direction of travel. For about $3 I toured the Museo De Las Momias de Guanajuato. Translated to museum of the mummies. It is interesting although morbid. A local tax was imposed in 1865 requiring relatives of the deceased to pay a fee to keep their relatives interred. 90 percent did not pay so the bodies were exhumed. After leaving the museum, I am thinking cremation is a much better way to go.
Glad se see you’re having a great trip Scott, keep the updates coming!
